Yummy Chinese: A Flavorful Cantonese & Szechuan Experience in Overland Park

I'm new to the area and I've eaten here twice. Today on New Year's we got three different dishes and I was surprised to see that they had a lot of vegetables and the sauces were all really tasty and the prices are really good.

I have only ever ordered take-out from the restaurant. Although there is a small dining area I assume it is not used very often by the patrons. For food, I have tried 3-4 varieties of chicken(the spicy ones) and they were good. The dinner combination is a good deal for a one-time meal. The quantity of entrees in the dinner combos are almost half compared to the same entrees from the a la carte menu. An area where I could see some improvement is the amount of meats they use in the dishes. It is usually a pretty small quantity of meat with a lot more veggies as fillers.

It's very yummy Chinese takeout indeed. Promptly ready, fresh, tasty. Rice is solid. Not being a sit-down restaurant I can't really rate on much more than food quality but I've never had a bad interaction with the staff whether I called in my order or put it in online. Atmosphere, again, not really as rateable but it's absolutely a clean place. Highly highly recommend it if you want Chinese takeout and leftovers. It comes in a microwave safe container for reheating too which is always always welcomed!

Some of the best hot and sour soup I've had in a long time, rice and orange chicken were delicious too, and it wasn only $23 for two entrees and drinks!

Travelling from Colorado we made a stop here. They don't have a big dine-in area, as you can see from my photos only 2 sides of dining area and table is very narrow. But I cared less for the dining cause the food was awesome it taste really good... the fried wanton was yummy...

This is my go to Chinese place now for ordering take out. It's such a step up, my wife and I have been getting desperate for a good Chinese place after trying about 30 or so in the area and not really coming away very impressed with anything. We love Chinese food so we kept trying and this one has made us both happy campers. One of the few restaurants that is still a good value, the appetizer platter for two is great, mapo tofu, spicy noodles, the egg drop soup, the pork ribs, human pork, and even the ol general tso's are all good. They also will put the sauce separate when you order fried food so it's not all soggy by the time you get it. Give me a spicy level option is the only thing I'd like my food a bit spicier, other than that give it a shot.

Food quality, portion size and price are very good. Order is always ready on time, accurate and hot. The gentleman at pick up counter is always very polite. I primarily use Yummy Chinese for take out but have also used the small dining area.

We love yummys! It’s so great and the service is so friendly and fast. We typically order delivery if the food arrives in a timely manner and always hot. Whenever there has been an issue with our order (which is not often) they are friendly and do their best to correct the error. I recommend this restaurant to everyone and all our friends and family. It’s a great place, run by great people with even better food.
